Carol A. Pantaleo is the Corporate Secretary and Managing Director of the Canadian Hospitality Foundation (CHF), bringing over three decades of experience in association leadership, stakeholder engagement and governance.
Carol began her career at Restaurants Canada in 1992 as an Executive Assistant and Membership Coordinator. Over the years, she held a variety of roles that showcased her adaptability and forward-thinking mindset, from launching the association’s first e-buyers guide and digital sales platform to initiating its corporate partnership program. Her ability to build and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders has been a cornerstone of her success.
With a deep understanding of governance, Carol has long been a trusted advisor to boards of directors, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence. She also served as a Director of the Foundation Gala Ball, further demonstrating her commitment to the industry and its future.
In 2023, Carol stepped into her current role at CHF, where she continues to champion the hospitality sector with passion, integrity, and a collaborative spirit. Known for her strategic insight and people-first approach, she remains dedicated to strengthening business relationships and supporting the next generation of industry leaders.
In her spare time, Carol loves traveling and experiencing hospitality around the world. She enjoys cooking, exploring new cuisines, and staying active through a balanced lifestyle that includes walking, yoga, and time outdoors — always finding joy in the little things that nourish both body and mind.
